# Trade "1 Hour Option"

## Are you Lite or Degen? <a href="#are-you-lite-or-degen" id="are-you-lite-or-degen"></a>

SuperVol 1 Hour option currently operates in 2 modes: **Lite Mode & Degen Mode**.

* **Lite Mode**: Simple, straight-forward trading for beginners
  * **Each order equals 1 unit, executed in the current Market Price.**&#x20;
* **Degen Mode**: SuperVol for the trading madmen
  * **All-you-can-trade, with Orderbooks and Limit Orders.**

Navigate between modes through the Lite-Degen switch on top.

Make sure you're on **Lite Mode**

Lite Mode provides simple trading for beginners. **Each order equals 1 unit, executed in the current Market Price.** Here's all you need to know, from understanding the interface to submitting trades and checking history.

### Trading Interface <a href="#trading-interface" id="trading-interface"></a>

1. **Menu:** For first-time visitors, go to Get Started & Connect Wallet
2. **My Balance**: Your SuperVol balance.
3. **Round**: Information on this round - including remaining time to expiry, and the market price multipliers for each <mark style="color:red;">**Under**</mark>**&#x20;/&#x20;**<mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark> option strikes.
   * Click on each multiplier to view strike & **market prices** on chart
4. **Underlying Chart**: Price chart for underlying assets (BTC / ETH /... and more).
   * Info on the selected order will be highlighted here (<mark style="color:green;">Over: Green</mark> / <mark style="color:red;">Under: Red</mark> / White: Both)
   * The message box includes your input price & strike
   * Highlighted time shows when the current round expires.
5. **Place Order:** Check and confirm orders
   * **Each order equals 1 unit in Lite Mode, executed in Market Price.**

### **Submitting an order** <a href="#submitting-an-order" id="submitting-an-order"></a>

1. Choose <mark style="color:red;">**Under**</mark>**&#x20;/&#x20;**<mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark>
2. Strike Price (displayed in multipliers)
   * Represents the expected payout if your trade wins @ expiry.
3. Check $ input price through chart display
   * Each multiplier corresponds to a certain strike, displayed on the chart.
4. Click Order button, and check your order in the pop-up.
5. Confirm Trade!

Degen mode provides limit orders, multi-unit orders and visualizes all strikes for the full SuperVol experience. All you need to know, from understanding the interface to submitting trades and checking history.

2. **Connect Wallet**: Metamask / Coinbase / OKX, or your favorite Web3 wallet
3. **Underlying Chart**: Price chart for underlying assets (BTC / ETH /... and more).
   * Your orders will be highlighted here **(**<mark style="color:green;">**Over: Green**</mark>**&#x20;/&#x20;**<mark style="color:red;">**Under: Red**</mark>**&#x20;/ White: Both)**
   * Dotted lines represent currently available strikes.
   * Highlighted time shows when the current round expires.
4. **Round**: Information on this round - including remaining time to expiry, strike prices, contract address, and the market prices for <mark style="color:red;">**Under**</mark>**&#x20;/&#x20;**<mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark> options.
   * Hover on price bar to compare strike with the current price
   * **Pay $X to win $100:** the numbers shown is the price that you pay
   * Click on price bar to view submit order and view informative charts

6. **Chat**: Interact with fellow SuperVol users :)

### **Submitting an order** <a href="#submitting-an-order-1" id="submitting-an-order-1"></a>

* You can simply submit an order in either <mark style="color:red;">**Under**</mark> or <mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark> by clicking the red / green bars in the Round -> checking the price -> inputting and submitting the order units (& price, in case of Limit Order).

1. **Strike**: Shows the strike price of the chosen option.
2. **Option Info**:
   * **Orderbook**: Displays the current open orders for this round.
   * **Price Trend**: Movement of **Over** (Green Line) / **Under** (Red Line) option price.
   * **Historical Trades**: List of orders placed during this round.

3\. Order Area

* **Market Order / Limit Order**: Market Orders are automatically filled at the best current price. Or you can set a limit order to wait for your desired price.
* **Under / Over**
* **Order Unit**: Each unit is worth $100 if your position wins
* **Order Information**:
  * Balance
  * Order Amount
  * Max Payout
  * Payout ( Order Unit \* 100 / Order Amount)
* Submit Order!

* Once you enter a position, your position will appear on the chart.

  * If your position is on <mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark>, you will see a green line at the Strike.

  * Conversely, if your position is on <mark style="color:red;">**Under**</mark>, you will see a red line at the Strike.

### (Advanced) Close Order <a href="#trading-interface" id="trading-interface"></a>

Users have the option to "Close" filled orders before expiry. In this case, user's PnL will be based on the current market price.

To close a 1 Hour trade, go to the My Position tab of the 1 Hour trade page. Click "Close", and then "Close Position" after confirming the pop-up details to close your trade.
