# 1 Hour Option

Trade probability. $100 payout.

* Price you pay changes dynamically with remaining time and price, win amount is always $100
* Predict Hour-to-hour prices of BTC, ETH (Expires every 1 hour at 00:00)
* Choose a Strike -> Place an <mark style="color:red;">**Under**</mark> or <mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark> Order (or even both).
* Multiple Strikes Available: Try out various strategies with 5 Strikes, 99%\~101% of Start Price.
  * **Lite Version**: Strikes are represented as “Multipliers” ($100 / Price)
  * **Degen Version**: Price Strikes, represented in % of Start Price.

* Users can make predictions on price changes of various coins/tokens for a maturity of max 1 hour.

* **Strikes**: At every 00m00s of the hour, 5 different strikes (**101%, 100.5%, 100%, 99.5%, 99%**) are generated for both BTC and ETH.
  * 100% is the Start Price of such round, i.e. price fixing from Oracle at every hour 00m 00s.
* <mark style="color:red;">**Under**</mark>**&#x20;or&#x20;**<mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark>**&#x20;for each Strike:** users can enter positions in either up/down for these strikes, upon their market view on the token's price movement in the short term (=less than 1 hour).
  * <mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark>, if users think the price > strike at expiry
  * <mark style="color:red;">**Under**</mark>, if users think the price < strike at expiry
  * ex) Buying BTC/USD <mark style="color:green;">OVER</mark> +1% @ 11:05 means you think BTC/USD will rise more than 1% from 11:00\~12:00
* **Price**: Users will pay upfront $ amount (=price of the option) shown in the dashboard to enter the position.
  * Prices are affected by remaining time to expiry / underlying price changes / volatility etc.
  * ex) BTC/USD <mark style="color:green;">OVER</mark> +1% price @ 11:05 is $45 -> Probability priced-in that you win $100
* **Market Order** (take the current best price): Filled orders cannot be cancelled.
* **Payoff**: At expiry, users who still have positions will win $100 (subject to a platform fee) if the price of such coin/token;
  * **ends higher** than the Strike, for an <mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark> position.
  * **ends lower** than the Strike, for an <mark style="color:red;">**Under**</mark> position.
  * In other cases, users waited until the expiry win 0.
  * So your PnL in the example above would be ($100 - $45 = $55, less fees)


# 1 Minute Option

Ride the direction, claim payout.

* Predict next-minute prices for crypto assets (Expires every minute)
* Trade as much as you want - just choose <mark style="color:red;">**Under**</mark> or <mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark> starting NOW

### **Waiting minutes too boring? Trade in SECONDS**

* Make predictions on price changes of various coins/tokens for a maturity of max 2 minutes.

* **Strike Price**: Current Price (=price of asset @ timestamp of order submission)
* **Expiry Price:** Price of Asset @ End of Round
* **Input Amount**: Amount users are willing to trade, to enter the position.
* <mark style="color:red;">**Under**</mark>**&#x20;or&#x20;**<mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark>**:** Users can enter positions in either up/down of Current Price, upon their market view on the asset price movement until expiry
  * <mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark>, if users think the Expiry Price > Strike Price
  * <mark style="color:red;">**Under**</mark>, if users think the Expiry Price < Strike Price
  * ex) Buying BTC/USD OVER @ 11:05:05 means you think BTC/USD at 11:07:00 will be higher than the price at 11:05:05
* **Payout**: At expiry, user will receive the payout as displayed above the order buttons if the price of such coin/token;

  * **ends higher** than the Strike Price, for an <mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark> position.
  * **ends lower** than the Strike Price, for an <mark style="color:red;">**Under**</mark> position.
  * In other cases, users receive payout of 0 (zero).
  * *Payout for each asset is subject to dynamic change without notice, based on market volatilities (capped to 40% of Input Amount)*

### Structure of "1 Minute" Rounds

Each Round lasts up to 2 minute. For each round, users can actively **trade** during the **first minute** (including position closes), while the **remaining minute** is the **waiting** period for the trade result.

For example, assume it's 01:00:00 UTC.

* You can submit an order at 15s of a round (01:00:15) and close before 1m (01:00:59). In this case, payout is locked-in at the position close.
* You can submit an order at 15s of a round (01:00:15) and submit another order at 40s of a round (01:00:40), and wait for the remaining 1m 20s until the trade result. In this case, your payout will be decided at the expiry (01:02:00).

While each round's duration is total 2 minutes, new round starts every minute. So you can still trade for the next round while waiting for the current round's result.

(\*Submitted orders cannot be cancelled. It can only be closed with a real-time payout during the first minute of such round.)

# Get Started

Join the Thunder Gang

To join SuperVol, head over to the SuperVol website. Make sure the link is <https://supervol.io>

On the top right, you’ll see two buttons: click **Get Started** if this is your first visit.

* For mobile, expand the three-line menu on the top right to find **Get Started :)**

1. Connect your Wallet to SuperVol.io, or login using your socials through thirdweb.
2. Switch network to **Soneium**
3. Fund your wallet with USDC.e and ETH
4. Deposit USDC.e to SuperVol
   * Expand 'View History' to check your deposits & withdrawals
   * Deposited tokens are accessible **only through** your own wallet, not even by SuperVol operators.
5. Let's Trade!


# Deposit & Withdraw

* 'My Balance' reflects the amount currently deposited from my wallet to the on-chain contract, which is available for trading.
* If you want to trade more, click \[Deposit] or 'My  Balance' button, input the amount, and confirm the deposit with an on-chain signature to increase My balance.

   * Info on the selected order will be highlighted here (<mark style="color:green;">Over: Green</mark> / <mark style="color:red;">Under: Red</mark> / White: Both)
   * The message box includes your input price & strike
   * Highlighted time shows when the current round expires.
5. **Place Order:** Check and confirm orders
   * **Each order equals 1 unit in Lite Mode, executed in Market Price.**

### **Submitting an order** <a href="#submitting-an-order-1" id="submitting-an-order-1"></a>

* You can simply submit an order in either <mark style="color:red;">**Under**</mark> or <mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark> by clicking the red / green bars in the Round -> checking the price -> inputting and submitting the order units (& price, in case of Limit Order).

1. **Strike**: Shows the strike price of the chosen option.
2. **Option Info**:
   * **Orderbook**: Displays the current open orders for this round.
   * **Price Trend**: Movement of **Over** (Green Line) / **Under** (Red Line) option price.
   * **Historical Trades**: List of orders placed during this round.

3\. Order Area

* **Market Order / Limit Order**: Market Orders are automatically filled at the best current price. Or you can set a limit order to wait for your desired price.
* **Under / Over**
* **Order Unit**: Each unit is worth $100 if your position wins
* **Order Information**:
  * Balance
  * Order Amount
  * Max Payout
  * Payout ( Order Unit \* 100 / Order Amount)
* Submit Order!

* Once you enter a position, your position will appear on the chart.

  * If your position is on <mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark>, you will see a green line at the Strike.

### (Advanced) Close Order <a href="#trading-interface" id="trading-interface"></a>

Users have the option to "Close" filled orders before expiry. In this case, user's PnL will be based on the current market price.

To close a 1 Hour trade, go to the My Position tab of the 1 Hour trade page. Click "Close", and then "Close Position" after confirming the pop-up details to close your trade.

2. **Asset:** Navigate between different products.
3. **Underlying Chart**: Price chart for underlying assets.

   * Vertical dotted lines on the chart represent round structures of '1 Min'
     * **Gray Line**: Trading Period Ends for current Round

4. **Payout & Input:** Displayed payout received at expiry if user wins a certain trade.
5. **Submit Order**: Over / Under

   1. To submit an order, simply check the payout & input, and click Over / Under.
   2. Your Strike Price will the current Pyth price of the selected asset.
   3. Hover on each button to view the estimated position on charts.

### Manage Orders - Expiry & Close

Once you submit an order, each order will be displayed on the chart. The horizontal lines connected to each order indicate the expiry times.

Head down to "History" - you'll see an option to **Close** each order.&#x20;

For '1 Min', it is possible to prematurely exit your trade based on the current market price of the traded asset pair. Note that you can only close trades before "Trade End"

* **Order Submitted \~ Trade End (Gray Line):** Closable (Either close or wait until expiry)
* **Trade End \~ Results Confirmed:** Cannot close (must wait until expiry)

Once results of a round are confirmed, our chart will display a pop-up with the PnL of all your trades during the Round.

# SuperVol Coupon

SuperVol Coupons are bonuses distributed to users through various campaigns. With coupons, users can make a real trade, or purchase high-price options with less burden.

**Are coupons real money?**

**YES**. Coupons are real money added directly to your SuperVol balance. Coupons can only be used to pay for trades at SuperVol and cannot be directly withdrawn to your wallet. However, any profit generated from coupons can be withdrawn.

**How can I earn Coupons?**

Through opening [Mystery Boxes](/archives/archive-supervol-mystery-box), and events hosted by SuperVol & external partners

**How do coupons work?**

Coupons are topped up to your SuperVol balance to open positions.

Suppose you received $10 in coupons issued by SuperVol in your account. You will find that ‘My balance’ has increased by the coupon amount (+$10). You may now engage in trades with your coupon amount + deposit balance combined.

While your coupon is valid, your coupon will always be used first in SuperVol trades.

* If your position **wins**:
  * **You keep all realized profit, less the coupon amount**. The coupon remains in your balance, and it can be used repeatedly in new trades until expiry.
* If your position **loses**:
  * **The coupon used in your trade will be removed from your balance**.

Remember that all coupons have an **expiry**, and unused coupons will be automatically removed from your balance after the coupon expiry (preset as expiry round at coupon issuance).

**Utilizing coupons**

With SuperVol coupons, you can try options trading with lower risk.

For example, the desired option is priced at $80, but you only have $70. By adding a $10 coupon, you can now engage in this trade without further deposit.

In another example, there are some $1 options that seem profitable, but you don’t want to risk your own money. $10 in coupons could allow more aggressive trading by providing you with risk-free trading.

**Where can I find my coupons?**

* Click "Deposit" button next to your balance.
* Expand "View History" within the Deposit pop-up to find the "Coupon" table.
* A coupon is "used" if you lose a trade with the coupon.
* Head over to the Withdraw tab - **you will find that coupons are not withdrawable**. The "Available to Withdraw" amount will display your balance less the coupon amount.

The SuperVol team manages all operations for coupons, and any terms and conditions are subject to change. Technically anyone can issue and distribute coupons, and the guideline will be published in due course.&#x20;

This page outlines the risks trading on SuperVol.

By accessing and trading on **SuperVol** (binary options products offered through \[<https://supervol.io>] and affiliated platforms), you acknowledge and accept the following risks, and agree to proceed at your own discretion:

### Smart Contract Risk <a href="#smart-contract-risk" id="smart-contract-risk"></a>

SuperVol operates through publicly visible smart contracts, offering transparency and decentralization. However, due to the inherent complexity of smart contract systems, there remains a risk of **vulnerabilities, bugs, or unforeseen exploits**, which may result in **partial or total loss of funds**.

Additionally, the platform is subject to **network-level limitations**. In cases of high blockchain congestion or chain outages, transactions such as **deposits, withdrawals, and order submissions** may be delayed or fail entirely. Users are strongly advised to take extra caution when placing "1 Hour" options orders with less than 1 minute remaining to expiry, as such transactions carry a higher risk of execution failure.

SuperVol is built on the Soneium network and relies on third-party infrastructure, including the Ethereum & [Soneium](https://soneium.org/en/) networks and USDC (USDC.e) tokens. While these are widely adopted and supported, the platform’s operations are still subject to any changes, upgrades, or failures of the underlying blockchain networks or token contracts.

### Market Risk <a href="#market-risk" id="market-risk"></a>

As detailed in the relevant product documentation, binary options trading carries significant financial risk. Users understand that if their prediction is incorrect, they may **lose 100% of the order amount** placed in that round.

Market conditions can be highly volatile and may change rapidly, impacting outcomes. Users are solely responsible for their trading decisions and the potential financial consequences.

### Settlement Risk <a href="#settlement-risk" id="settlement-risk"></a>

Products are settled in stablecoins upon expiry using the following methodology:

* A permissionless keeper bot interacts with oracle contracts to fetch the latest available price from the Pyth Network.
* The corresponding Pyth price, as returned by the oracle at the time of expiry, is used to determine settlement outcomes.

While the system is designed to function autonomously and efficiently, users acknowledge and accept the following settlement-related risks:

1. **Keeper Execution Delays**:\
   If the keeper bot fails to execute promptly after expiry, the settlement of the relevant options may be delayed or may not occur. In such cases, the round may be subject to cancellation, and any positions may be voided at the platform’s discretion.
2. **Network or Oracle Outages**:\
   In the event of a disruption to the Ethereum mainnet, supported Layer 2 networks, or the Pyth Price Feed, settlement may not be possible for the affected round. S shall not be held liable for any resulting failure to settle positions under such conditions.
3. **Execution Risk**
   1. **1 Hour Options**:\
      During periods of elevated market activity or high volatility, there may be a delay between order placement and execution. Users may not be able to enter positions at their intended prices due to dynamic pricing and rapid market fluctuations.
   2. **1 Minute Options**:\
      Due to network latency and high asset price volatility, the actual entry price of a trade may deviate from the intended strike price at the time of order submission. This may result in slippage or unexpected trade outcomes.

Price Feeds and Settlement for SuperVol options

### Price feed from Pyth <a href="#price-feed-from-pyth" id="price-feed-from-pyth"></a>

* SuperVol uses [Pyth](https://pyth.network/price-feeds), a pull-based oracle for crypto market data, for the fair calculation of its options.
* Pyth Price Feeds are used for the **Start Price** and **End Price** of each rounds, thus providing both a decentralised and accountable standard to determine user's trade results.
* From July 2025, SuperVol is powered by **Pyth Lazer** - providing real time price updates for super fast trading.&#x20;

### Round Fixing & Settlement

Due to various complexities in round fixing (including blockchain latency, market fluctuations, smart contract risk), orders with less than 1 minute left before expiry have a high risk of failure. It is recommended that users place orders with enough time remaining.

* The price of each coin/token at 00 minutes @ every hour will be used for the fixings of SuperVol's 1 Hour options.
* More precisely, SuperVol listens to the **Pyth price of HH:00:00** at HH:00:10 every hour.
* By structure, the End Price of Round 'N' will be used for the Start Price of Round 'N+1'. Failure in Pyth price retrieval leads to an error in both ending one round and starting a new one.
* Due to various reasons (i.e. delay/shutdown of Pyth, Ethereum or L2 network), SuperVol may fail to retrieve fixing prices.
  * For example, if SuperVol fails to fetch the End Price for Round 'N':
    1. SuperVol will retry every 2 minutes (ex. HH:02:10 / HH:04:10/ ...)
    2. Until Round 'N' is fixed, the opening of **Round 'N+1'** will be delayed (No Start Price).
       * If the issue persists for 60 minutes, **Round 'N+1'** will be cancelled.
    3. Afterwards, SuperVol will search the Start Price for **Round 'N+2'**
    4. Trading will be functional from **Round 'N+2'**
* Regardless of the operation of other rounds, SuperVol will attempt fixing of Round 'N' for a maximum of 24 hours (=Max. 720 attempts)
  * If fixing fails even after 24 hours, SuperVol will use Binance spot price of asset for End Price of **Round 'N'**

# Hybrid Approach

Optimizing speed and safety for the best experience

SuperVol employs a hybrid approach with **on-chain settlement** and **off-chain orderbook** management.

Initially, SuperVol aimed to implement the entire options trading process fully on-chain. However, this approach encountered several technical challenges:

* Users needed to sign each order individually from their wallets, creating inconvenience.
* A few seconds of latency existed between placing and executing orders, which is critical for ultra-short-term options.
* Each order, regardless of execution, incurred gas fees, making the process cost-inefficient.

To optimize user experience in terms of trade execution, orderbook management, and costs, SuperVol adopted the hybrid model of on-chain settlement and off-chain orderbook management, similar to methods used by other perpetual DEXs like dYdX.

In this hybrid system, SuperVol introduces the concepts of **Deposit** and **Withdraw**.

Upon trading, it is required that users lock USDC (in the amount desired to trade) to an on-chain contract. This amount acts as a margin. **Withdrawal is always available**, whenever a user decides to stop trading on SuperVol.

Importantly, SuperVol does NOT take ownership of the stablecoins during these processes.&#x20;

* With SuperVol, your funds always stay on-chain and you remain in full control of your stablecoins at all times.&#x20;
* There are no central intermediaries that hold your private keys.&#x20;
* Thus, both Deposit and Withdraw are on-chain actions, requiring wallet signatures.

When a user deposits USDC.e to SuperVol, the amount is credited to **ClearingHouse** contract under a unique tag. This amount is accessible only to the deposit user.


# Fee Structure

We only let winners pay

SuperVol trades currently have no opening / funding / closing fees.&#x20;

  * User A pays 4.41 USDC (=Profit 90 \* Platform Fee 4.9%) as a fee.
  * User A receives 95.59 USDC as the final result.
* On the other hand, User B, the counterpart of such option (=buyer of <mark style="color:red;">**UNDER**</mark> option at the same expiry) who paid and lost 90 USDC **will NOT be subject to a fee**.
* Fees are rounded to the second decimal (0.01 USDC)

To join SuperVol, head over to the SuperVol website. Make sure the link is <https://supervol.io>

On the top right, you’ll see two buttons: click **Get Started** if this is your first visit.

* For mobile, expand the three-line menu on the top right to find **Get Started**

1. Connect your Wallet to SuperVol.io, or login using your socials through thirdweb.

# Deposit & Withdraw (Minato)

### Deposit <a href="#deposit" id="deposit"></a>

* My balance reflects the amount currently deposited from my wallet to the on-chain contract, which is available for trading.
* If you want to trade more, click \[Deposit] next to My balance, input the amount, and confirm the deposit with an on-chain signature to increase My balance.
* First time users will have to Approve vUSDC token usage in their wallets.

### Withdraw <a href="#withdraw" id="withdraw"></a>

* Click \[Deposit] next to My balance -> Withdraw
* Input the amount you wish to withdraw, and confirm the withdrawal with an on-chain signature to decrease My balance.

1. **Menu:** For first-time visitors, go to Get Started & Connect Wallet
2. **My Balance**: Your SuperVol balance.
3. **Round**: Information on this round - including remaining time to expiry, and the market price multipliers for each <mark style="color:red;">**Under**</mark>**&#x20;/&#x20;**<mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark> option strikes.
   * Click on each multiplier to view strike & **market prices** on chart
4. **Underlying Chart**: Price chart for underlying assets (BTC / ETH).
   * Info on the selected order will be highlighted here (<mark style="color:green;">Over: Green</mark> / <mark style="color:red;">Under: Red</mark> / White: Both)
   * The message box includes your input price & strike
   * Highlighted time shows when the current round expires.
5. **Place Order:** Check and confirm orders
   * **Each order equals 1 unit in Lite Mode, executed in Market Price.**

2. Strike Price (displayed in multipliers)
   * Represents the expected payout if your trade wins @ expiry.
3. Check $ input price through chart display
   * Each multiplier corresponds to a certain strike, displayed on the chart.
4. Click Order button, and check your order in the pop-up.
5. Confirm Trade!

   * Hover on price bar to compare strike with the current price
   * **Pay $X to win $100:** the numbers shown is the price that you pay
   * Click on price bar to view submit order and view informative charts

6. **Chat**: Interact with fellow SuperVol users :)

### **Submitting an order** <a href="#submitting-an-order-1" id="submitting-an-order-1"></a>

* You can simply submit an order in either <mark style="color:red;">**Under**</mark> or <mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark> by clicking the red / green bars in the Round -> checking the price -> inputting and submitting the order units (& price, in case of Limit Order).

1. **Strike**: Shows the strike price of the chosen option.
2. **Option Info**:
   * **Orderbook**: Displays the current open orders for this round.
   * **Price Trend**: Movement of **Over** (Green Line) / **Under** (Red Line) option price.
   * **Historical Trades**: List of orders placed during this round.

3\. Order Area

* **Market Order / Limit Order**: Market Orders are automatically filled at the best current price. Or you can set a limit order to wait for your desired price.
* **Under / Over**
* **Order Unit**: Each unit is worth $100 if your position wins
* **Order Information**:
  * Balance
  * Order Amount
  * Max Payout
  * Payout ( Order Unit \* 100 / Order Amount)
* Submit Order!

* Once you enter a position, your position will appear on the chart.

  * If your position is on <mark style="color:green;">**Over**</mark>, you will see a green line at the Strike.

# Share Trade (Minato)

How to Share your SuperVol trades!

Visit the Trade page, and make a [Trade](/overview/user-guide/trade-1-hour-option) on SuperVol.

Check your filled trades in the "My Position" tab below. You will see underlined PnLs represented in %.

Click on the underlined PnL to view your **Trade Share** card. Your Share Trade card includes:

* Timestamp
* Trade Pair (Coin)
* Round
* Position
* PnL (in both % & amount)
* Referral Code

You can either share directly through Socials (Telegram / X / Copy Link), or download your Share Trade card image.

Your participation is key in developing both our community and product. Thus, the team is always considering user reward as a major factor in our journey towards success.

As of now, we believe that a fair and transparent measurement of your efforts is possible through a points scheme.

### How to Earn Points <a href="#how-to-earn-points" id="how-to-earn-points"></a>

We value all efforts that make SuperVol a better place, from rigorous trading on SuperVol to spreading the word about us on social media. Any suggestions or bug reports are also valued, making sure we’re all set before Mainnet launch.

As of now, we’re keeping things as simple as possible – just trade and refer frens!

**1. Trade**

Make trades on our ‘1 Hour’ product to accumulate **Trading Points**.

* 1 Hour
  * 1 Order Unit Filled = 100 Trading Points
  * e.g.) 10 Market Orders on BTC/USD 1 hour, +1% Over = 1,000 Trading Points

*The order size of ‘1 Hour’ trades is fixed at $100. Regardless of your order price, 1 unit of trade is recognized as $100.*

*Under this setup, both ITM trades (orders with a high probability to win; likely to be priced higher) and OTM trades (orders with a low probability to win; likely to be priced lower) will be treated equally important in SuperVol Point scheme.*

**2. Referral**

SuperVol rewards **both referrers** and **referees**, the most important aspect of SuperVol Referral Points Scheme.

In most projects, rewards for referrers (the inviter) are straightforward while rewards for referees (the invited) are not as strong. Hence the incentive for referees (the invited) to use someone else's referral link to join a project is limited.

Gated participation is a way to tackle this problem, but we want SuperVol to remain a public experience. Instead, we are giving equal points to referees as well as referrers.

On top of this, SuperVol will give bonus points to "active referrals" if the referee achieves a minimum trade volume of $1,000. Both referrers and referees get bonus points from active referrals.

Sharing 4 major glossaries of SuperVol Referral Points Scheme for the SuperVol community:

**(1) My Referrals**

* \# of users that have registered your referral code + Make at least 1 trade on SuperVol

**(2) Referral Trading Pts**

* 10% of the total trading points earned by your Referees

**(3) My Trading Pts Boost**

* Register a referral code, and you gain a 10% boost on your trading points (=better to be referred by your friend to onboard!)

**(4) Referral Bonus Pts**

* If someone registers your code, and that person trades the first $1,000:
  * That person earns 10,000 points
  * You earn 5,000 points

* Deposit and do nothing = Max 208% APR

Snapshot Amount:&#x20;

* Rewards allocated relative to average amount of hourly "snapshots" within event period.&#x20;
* To encourage trading, a user's snapshot will be the larger number between:&#x20;
  * Net Deposits (Deposits - Withdrawals)&#x20;
  * Net Spend (Amount Traded on SuperVol)&#x20;

So don't worry that trading will reduce your snapshot amount!&#x20;

* Rewards Details:&#x20;
  * SuperVol Coupons are non-withdrawable promotional credits, directly in your balance. Coupons can be used exclusively for trades on SuperVol.&#x20;
    * Coupons are valid for 7 days. Unused rewards will expire after the validity period.&#x20;
